lp021426: Intro to Ruler Work Quilitng - the 6" Arc
This class will continue the work begun to support the 6 piece Janome Ruler Work Kit; in this class, we’ll be working with the 6” arc that comes in the set. The Arc design gives you an introduction to how it feels when you change the point of contact between your ruler and the ruler foot; the gentle curve of the arc gives you a chance to get used to it. Although we’ve shown the ruler in a classic ‘clamshell’ design, there are many design opportunities to use this ruler to highlight a block, and we’ll go over several of those in class. At Bittersweet, we offer students the option of using one of our classroom machines when they take the class, or if you wish, you may bring your own machine for this class. If you are bringing your own machine, please bring a ruler foot with you which fits your machine.

lp0326: Electric Summer Quilt with the QCR Mini
Electric Summer is a fun new pattern that’s sure to bring a little zing to your 2026 project list. This pattern is an opportunity to work with either a precut package of coordinates or a scrap basket in order to create an easy to piece quilt that will be appreciated for years. This quilt is great for coordinates which have 5” squares as a basic building block, so this will work well with layer cakes, charm packs, fat quarters – or that color sorted scrap bin that so many of us have.
