My Jane quilt is designed to be a fast-to-make, stash or scrap-friendly quilt that’s a great comfort quilt, college quilt, snuggle on the couch with a movie quilt, or even a baby quilt. It’s also perfect for beginners because you’re each block is only one straight seam. This gives quilters (whether beginners or intermediates) a way to quickly and accurately chain piece (!!) this quilt quickly and accurately. Besides the borders, each piece in the quilt is the same size. It’s perfect for fat quarters, layer cakes, or a bin of colors you need to work through. Add a border (or two) and you have a great quilt to use or to gift. The technique is in the public domain, but this pattern was written by independent pattern designer Linda Pearl of NH, and stitched by her on her Janome. The pattern even gives you options for other sizes to make this technique your own.
